MORE on Guanacaste

I forgot one of the coolest parts of the trip! Well all of the parts were cool, but the last thing we did was mud baths! We went to this place in the side of the volcano and toured these little pools of muddy water, which were over 300 or so degrees! We were able to "open our pores" in the spa (this is very important if you want to absorb as much clay as possible into your pores), the we jumped into this muddy ditch/pool with hot water and took some nice scrub baths. It was really fun! The clay really gets ya, though, I'm still pulling some out of my ear canal. It felt like a full body mask, it dried and really cleansed all of our pores, in case you are curious. Then we showered off on these cool platforms that had statues with water shooting out of their various orafices, and laid in the hot pools for at least an hour, it was intense. I was so mellow after all of this, we all were zombies when we went to lunch. Mellow, calm zombies. It was a great ending to the trip, before a long bus ride.
Oh, I also forgot to mention that by now I've filled one of the memory cards of my flip camera!!!! That means 2 hours of film, which is great, because all I need is 3. So I should be able to get at least another hour easily in the next 2.5 months. Just to let you know! :)
